food trip 2 – pho hoa

wasn’t really a huge fan of pho… until we went to ho chi minh and ended up eating pho almost every day! šŸ™‚ it was hilarious! the first time we tried it, we had ZERO inkling on what to do with the toge and lime! we were sooooo clueless! šŸ™‚ we were like cheating from the table beside us, trying to figure out how the locals eat the thing. lol. no they’re not appetizers. šŸ˜‰

anyway, pho has become one of my comfort food – especially the seafood pho at pho hoa. very yummy! šŸ™‚ i also like the stringbeans with pork. (our favorite!) reminds me of singapore šŸ™‚

seafood pho – comes in regular and big size… tip – if you’re big on soup, you can always ask for refills šŸ™‚

beans with pork – a bit oily but really worth it! šŸ˜€

we also ordered several other things but i forgot what they were called – will try to go back and check the names šŸ™‚

lui and i shared a plate of this:

the bbq pork was really nice

and my glutton-of-a-cousin had this:

all in all, i think that pho hoa is a must try for everybody. but i guess, not everybody will like it (or love it) like we do. but definitely worth a try šŸ™‚
