the best siao long pao ever

last saturday, we went to our favorite siao long pao place – suzhou dimsum for some good saturday night meal πŸ™‚

i actually forgot what this is called. sorry will find out.

achi had the pork maki with noodles

mom, lui and i shared 1 plate of salted pork with vegetable rice (yum)

steamed siao long pao

i prefer their fried siao long pao (it actually comes in 4 pcs but achi snatched one before i can even take a pic! haha)

salt and pepper pork

salted egg ampalaya (the only amapalaya i eat!)

the best! πŸ™‚ they have branches in gandara and in ermita. and i think in makati as well.

here’s a short tutorial on how to eat siao long pao properly:

1st. you have to make sure that you don’t break the skin while getting it from the basket or you’ll miss the best part! – the soup inside each pao πŸ™‚

2nd. you dip it into the black vinegar with ginger sauce

3rd. you take a small bite and suck the soup out πŸ™‚

4th. make sure that the inside is not so hot, then put some ginger and just put everything in your mouth!!!
